Southgate Animal Hospital was established in 2010 by Dr. Barb Deter. Her goal was to foster great, long standing relationships with clients and provide personalized, up-to-date care to their animal family members. In 2023, Dr. Mel Gagnon purchased the practice from Dr. Barb, with the goal of continuing this culture. In this day in age of large, corporate-owned practices, Southgate Animal Hospital is proud to be a privately-owned, small team of familiar faces who know you and your pets by name.
